Position may be filled as a temporary promotion, change to lower grade or reassignment NTE 1 year but may be made in 1 year increments up to 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes:
1. coordinating the integrated activities of functional specialists responsible for the maintenance activities of an organization; and 2. managing the acquisition of maintenance and logistics data, to include Provisioning or Publications products, for Army materiel. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

CES provides leader development opportunities for Army civilians. The following course and time requirements apply to this position:
The Foundation Course (FC) is required for all employees hired after 30 September 2006. The Supervisory Development Course (SDC) must be completed within one year of placement into the position. For supervisor at the GS-13 to GS-15 levels (or equivalent pay bands), the Advanced Course (AC) must be completed within two years after placement into the position. Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers. Under the streamlined personnel operations for the demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades. For example, acquisition jobs in level NH-II of broad banding encompass the traditional GS-05 through GS-11 grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified job classification, streamlined hiring processes, and expanded developmental opportunities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
