Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized experience for a Human Capital Analyst, NH-02 position:
Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 pay band or grade level equivalency, which includes:
1) Experience with and utilization of civilian personnel rules, regulations, and principles of human resource management; and 2) Experience with Defense Travel System and ability to train others in its operation.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service. OR Education:
Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
