Description
Provide project management assistance and support to the Product Manager Applique and Large Unmanned Ground Systems in the area of Software Acquisition and Network Integration.
This role will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, directing, and coordinating the research, design, development, and engineering activities for robotic systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Direct and participate in preparation/execution of program plans, documentation, schedules, budgets, and milestones necessary for the planning and execution of the assigned program.
Applies in-depth knowledge of computer systems and operating systems software, software architecture, high order programming languages, and knowledge of accepted computer science technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret level clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering plus 8 to 10 years of experience.
Professional knowledge of DoD Acquisition as well as the principles, theories, and methodology of software engineering, software development, and computer science, to provide Life-Cycle Software Engineering (LCSE) services.
Good understanding of software assurance and cyber security concepts as they apply to software.
Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to provide high quality support and customer service to the Government customer in a high visibility position.
Excellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong interpersonal abilities, including ability to tactfully negotiate resolution to competing programmatic demands and requirements.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Travel as required.
Desired Skills:
Familiar with Static Code Analysis using Fortify, Coverity, or other tools.
Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework Process.
Experience working with TARDEC, PEO CS&CSS, PEO C3T and/or related PM offices within the Army Materiel Command.
Experience with robotics systems.
Experience with U.S. DoD communications equipment.
