## Job Description:
Searching for an energetic and motivated Front-Desk/Guest Services clerk for the Holiday Hotel Inn & Suites. Position will report directly to the General Manager.
Must be willing to work all shifts, including night audit and weekends. Hotel Experience required.
Applicant will be focused on guest satisfaction, strong written and verbal skills, ability to foster a team environment... Must be effective in troubleshooting in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Returns:
Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control labor costs and expenses with a focus on rate strategy, building initiatives and inventory management.
Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports.
Develop plans to increase occupancy and ADR through walk-ins and upselling at the front desk.
Guest Experience:
Front office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition.
Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to interact effectively with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies.
Responsible Business:
Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
Learn and Work on PBX procedures and serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis situations; develop and maintain relationships with local fire, police and emergency personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
## Job Requirements:
Must have 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
