00 per hour (up to 3 hours per day); Employed by EDUStaff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Previous experience working with children preferred Must pass background check Demonstrate patience and understanding when working with children Ability to work flexible schedule Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull Ability to supervise outdoor recess during all types of weather Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, students and other departments professionally
Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor students in the cafeteria during meals and at recess either indoor or outside Be alert at all times to students and their needs Circulate through cafeteria, making self available to students who need assistance.
Maintains order in the cafeteria, reinforces manners, eating habits and clean up procedures Inform principal of any serious problems Establish and maintain safe environment at all times Enforce safety rules and appropriate behavior standards and playground/cafeteria rules set by the principal Provide first aid needs to students when needed Supervise students in designated areas in the event of bad weather Restrict rough housing, horseplay or other inappropriate behavior Comply with all district board policies, safety and crisis management policies and procedures Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner Maintain positive attitude Perform other duties as assigned Qualified applicants should apply on-line via AppliTrack at http:
