Specification Analyst

Specification AnalystThe Specification Analyst position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting highly complex engineering information, (work orders, Vehicle Description Summary information, Product Program Content, etc.
), performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to release issues.
What You'll Do:
Working with DREs to ensure the Master Parts List (MPL) is accurate.
Create and maintain the MPL in the mainframe system.
Lead the MPL reconciliation activities / completing work on time.
Be the trusted expert in the Engineering Change Request process.
React appropriately to urgent requests.
Analyze and resolve issues found in MPL audits.
Write engineering work orders and ensure they are written correctly and according to process.
Analyze and interpret highly complex engineering information from multiple sources.
Schedule, maintain, and communicate the status of all deliverables.
Keep the leader informed of status and issues.
Analyze complex data and make recommendations on difficult technical problems.
Participate in project teams aimed at improving processes and quality.
Keep accurate records of work performed.
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Bachelors degree required - Math degree is ideal.
A minimum of two (2) years of industry experience outside of Internships and Co-Ops.
Experience in Specifications (engineering change requests, etc.
) demonstrating aptitude in role.
Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, as well as overall computer proficiency.
Ability to understand and follow work instructions, standards, and quality procedures.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize work and react appropriately to urgent requests.
Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering and Program Teams.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Ability to work independently from Mentor and is assigned specific program responsibility.
High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual, difficult, or complex.
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
