Responsibilities:
Ensure Absolute Building & Personnel Safety Ensure safe forklift operations & forklift preventative maintenance Ensure safe electric pallet jack operations Ensure only approved staff use forklift or electric pallet jack Ensure facility is safe to operate in each day (no slip/trip hazards, etc) Ensure all external doors/garage doors remain closed when not in use Ensure all staff work in safe manner (lifting/bending/etc) Ensure all shelving and stock are secure Ensure An Organized Facility (interior and exterior) All stock throughout facility is organized & accessible Stock location is consistent with facility map No stock is buried behind other stock All stock is properly rotated/inspected/reported to prevent expiration, if any stock is expired it is properly labeled and documented to prevent accidental shipment All like stock is kept together in one location, no mixed stock in several locations All stock is always stored with its product information and expiration easy to see All stock on the return cart within freezer is put away timely No wasted floor space mall quantity pallets are broken down and put away Ensure A Clean Facility (interior and exterior) All inside floors are clear (products put away/no junk/no misc.
equipment) All inside floors are clean (swept and floor scrubbed) All outside parking lot is clean (no trash/equipment/product left out) Weekly facility scorecard inspections Control Inbound Receiving & Product Storage Control inbound receiving Verify all order quantities Verify vendor freshness (shelf life and quality) Ensure products put away in correct priority, timeliness, and location:

Dry Know where to find/store products Ensure open communication with Purchaser about any storage or receiving challenges Ensure Product Quality and Freshness Daily walk through facility to ensure product quality and freshness Daily active tracking of items approaching expiration (within 10 days) to prevent waste Communicate soon-to-expire items to supervision team and update school manager Wasted items discussed/documented with supervisor Do not allow refrigerated stock to sit outside of cooler longer than 30 minutes or frozen stock to sit outside of freezer for longer than 60 minutes Participate in Inventory Process each month Ensure Pull List is fulfilled each day accurately and timely to production's needs Ensure leftover pull list items returned to proper storage each day Lead Warehouse Team Interview/ hire/train staff as needed Ensure staff productivity & set clear expectations Recognize and reward good performance, performance manage poor performance with documented disciplinary procedures and supervisor support Build rapport and morale Support Distribution Team Cover driver route if emergency, deliver food shipments if emergency Job Type:
