o Software Engineering with emphasis in the following areas:
o Embedded Systemso Software Product Assuranceo Software Safetyo Conducting requirements decomposition from various operational requirements documentso Analyzing technical capability and maturity of various software systemso Developing technical performance specificationso Testing methodologies and plan developmento Coordinating with cross functional domainso Reviewing contractor performance specifications requirements and software documentationo Experience within a multiple discipline engineering team Qualified candidates will have an interest or experience in one of the following areas:
o Familiar with System of Systems Sub Systems for Ground Combat Vehicleso Familiar with Systems Engineering and DoD Acquisition processeso Broad Experience with Electronics and Digital Communication Buses (e.gRS422, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, Ethernet, etc.)o Integration of software within hardware systems with emphasis on real time safety critical systemso Understanding of OEM documentation Technical Data Interpolation up to and including drawing reviews and reverse engineering principles.o Experience in military ground air, or naval vehicles type certification and material releaseo Experience in test and evaluation of complex weapons systems such as missiles, aircraft, tanks, and indirect fire systems Education and Experience Requirements:
o B.Sor greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineeringo Relevant graduate degrees will be given preference.o 8 plus years of experience in software development.o (Web Database Enterprise Networks - non applicable)o 8 plus years of experience in project acquisition managemento 8 plus years of experience in one of the following programming languageso C C+
/ Ada / Haskell / Scada / VHDL / Verilog / Assemblyo 8 plus years of experience in integration of software and hardware systems with emphasis on real time safety critical systems Additional Requirements:
