Job Overview:
As a Material Handler/Packer, you will play a critical role in our daily operations by efficiently handling and packing materials for shipping and distribution.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that products are prepared and packaged according to company standards, meeting quality and safety requirements.
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork will be vital in maintaining our high levels of service.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently package materials following established guidelines and procedures.
Inspect products for defects and damages before packaging.
Organize and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Operate relevant equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand tools.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in material handling or packing preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
Willingness to work 66 hours per week on the 1st shift.
