Daily Responsibilities Check calendar for day's events and begin activities without assistance Check bird/fish food, water and bedding, replenish if needed Check birthday sheet and deliver cards and door signs Check refrigerator for items missing names and dates and discard food older than 3 days Make morning announcements if supervisor is unavailable Get items ready for days events:
crafts, baking and or games Sweep around cages before exercise if needed Make afternoon announcements (12:
30) Pick up and deliver mail/newspapers Jot down ideas for craft, games or special events or functions End of Day Turn off and clean out coffee pot Double check cages and sweep floor if needed Double check calendar for next day's events if baking or crafts will be done, let supervisor know if items are available or needed Check microwave and clean if necessary Turn off computer if supervisor is unavailable Make sure that all windows are closed and secure Weekly Responsibilities Check cash box for blackjack and bingo, get change if needed Check on progress of calendar and newspaper Attain craft items, snacks for weekend movie, sugar free ice cream and other items needed Help clean animal cages Make sure all receipts from weekly purchases are properly recorded on ledger Check ledger balance Wash out fridge and microwave Check coffee supply, have at least one bag for Monday A.

Return movie from weekend and get movie for weekend and record title in folder Friday before leaving have snacks ready and tagged at Nurses station and movie in bottom right hand drawer of desk Monthly Responsibilities Confirm the next month's entertainment Ready list of all crafts, baking and special events for the month Check calendar book for up coming major events and entertainment (2-3 months ahead) Assist in assuring all Resident's attend Health Fair Help record weights of all resident's that attend Health Fair and make a copy for Director of Health Care Services Assist in mailing out birthday invites to resident's family Make free bingo and blackjack list for cash box Assist on planning the next month's calendar and newsletter End of Month Double check newsletter and calendar for errors Assist in making copies of newsletter and calendars Have items for the boards ready 3-4 days before needed Make birthday bags Have an extra list of birthdays for entertainers Assist in balancing monthly account ledger Assist in putting together and passing out newsletter and calendar to Resident's Other Responsibilities Check outing sign up sheets in activity room Check for and replenish scrap paper and pencils in activity room Make HIPPA sheets for new residents Introduce yourself, explain where rooms are located, what activities are available, when they are, and what functions are free and what functions have a charge associated with it Remind residents of special events; knock on doors to remind before functions Assist in setting tables of functions and special events Assist in taking pictures of special events and birthday's Assist to make sure the van is gassed up and clean on the inside before outings Thank entertainers, volunteers and Resident's for coming and helping out Show NHS students which Resident's require help during bingo Help give instruction to NHS students during monthly events Assist in handing out reminders to resident's who have signed up for an outing on the morning of outings and remove names of those resident's who have changed their mind Assist any resident who enlists our aid to read newsletters or other small tasks Greet any and all who enter the activity room Keep Resident's up beat and proactively try to get them to participate in activities Smile and remember at all times that the activity room is a fun and happy place Recommended Skills Health Care Self Motivation Sweeping Event Management Cooking Microwaves Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
