Senior IT Manager of Global Purchasing & Supplier Quality Business Technology steers the course of action for a team of Business Analysts focused on delivering innovative solutions for Global Purchasing of direct material and Supplier Quality solutions. This role reports to the Information Technology Director responsible for Global Purchasing, Supply Chain and Logistics Business Technology. The Senior IT Manager provides strategic direction regarding IT programs or services including formulating, developing, and executing multiyear strategies enabling the Global Purchasing and Supplier Quality business functions with new or enhancements-to-existing capabilities, applications, and systems. Directly responsible for formulating the business strategies for the organization they are part of and often required to use excellent high-level communication skills to drive consensus where stakeholder interests are not aligned. The Senior IT Manager is excellent at finding opportunities and developing new products, processes, standards, or operational plans in support of the organization's business strategies with a direct impact on business and/or function overall results. Influences others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches. Includes stakeholder engagement across business partners and IT functions such as solution architecture, development and delivery; portfolio planning; business benefit formulation and portfolio execution. Promotes GM's values and makes customer-focused decisions. Responsible for staffing, communicating, training and development, directing and prioritization of work, evaluating performance and removing roadblocks. Major Duties & Responsibilities First to be engaged in the evaluation of new technology ideas and formulate integrated system templates. Rapidly assesses new, ambiguous requirements and ensures system designs meet business needs. Leads a senior team of Business Analysts eliciting requirements from Global Purchasing and Supplier Quality, and working closely with delivery and development partners, to ensure high-speed and high-quality delivery of technology solutions . Builds and fosters talent. Develops of high-level process models and system requirements that support system strategy decisions. Creates short- and long-term integrated system template designs documented in Context Diagrams, Integration Diagrams and Process Definition Documents that document end-to-end process templates and requirements. Interact at senior levels of Global Purchasing and Supplier Quality, including Executive Directors and staffs, to shape and define technology strategies, roadmaps and portfolios with multiyear horizons . Is masterful of leading multiple projects or major programs through cross-functional influence. Presents, justifies and achieves buy-in , from stakeholders in business and IT organizations, for system designs, business merits and overall company impact. Maintains a strong oversight of all end-to-end processes ensuring integration and efficiency objectives are accomplished through leveraging technology to solve real business problems. Qualifications:

years in manager roles in Information Technology with special emphasis on Procurement, Purchasing of direct material or Supplier Quality system areas. Experience with automotive direct material procurement and supplier quality processes and technologies preferred. Actual business experience in Procurement, Purchasing or Supplier Quality is desirable. Expert business and process knowledge with a strong focus on Purchasing of direct material, Supplier Quality and associated Information Technology industry knowledge and trends. Skillfully deals with and is comfortable with ambiguity. Comfortable presenting at the senior executive level. Leverages a wide variety of tools / techniques to facilitate communication. Influential leadership and is adept at influencing without authority. Asks tough questions respectfully; professionally and creatively resolves issues to ensure the success of their organization and innovation delivery. Education:
Bachelor's Degree with majors in Procurement and Supplier Quality Systems or equivalent experience required. Master's Degree in IT or Purchasing and Supplier Quality business processes preferred. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
