Description Cadillac has an opening for an Assistant Product Marketing Manager - Performance integration in Warren, MI. The position reports to the Sedan, V-Series, Performance and Cadillac Racing Product Marketing Manager. Primary Purpose:
o Support Product Marketing Managers in all efforts associated with assigned Cadillac carlines. o Highly visible position. The cost of entry into high and ultra-high performance segments is high. This position will focus on earning the creditability with owners, future owners, media and dealers. o Assist Product Marketing Manager in executing a comprehensive vehicle line plan that encompasses product, pricing/incentives, advertising & promotion, and retailer channel (distribution, product training, sales effectiveness). The vehicle line plansupports the Cadillac Business Plan. o Coordinate and lead special cross-carline projects, in the areas of marketing strategy and tactics, product planning and management, product lifecycle management, and retail operations assistance. KEY RESPONSIBILITES for each product - Responsible for managing Cadillac V-Performance Academy contact and execution. V-Performance academy is a Global program part of the V-series Blackwing ownership experience. Identify consumer insights and competitive opportunities to guide the development of market strategy/tactics, engaging with the analytics team where appropriate Manage day to day communication with enthusiast groups. V-series owners are passionate. They expect engagement from Cadillac. Coordinating meetings, regular communications and event participation. Provide carline direction on creative work in terms of scope, key messages, and customer target; all within the context of Cadillac umbrella positioning Assist with developing strategy and manage ownership experience execution Collaborate with full marketing team to develop compelling consumer messaging strategy which utilizes appropriate media tactics Assist in the development of content for dealer product training and customer education Manage development and execution for V-Series certification programs. Collaborate with Product Manager to identify customer needs, develop initial model/content strategy, and identify product wins for communications Support other team members with integration tactics between nameplates. Support V-Series elevation and expansion strategy as it applies to current and future nameplates. Assist in ensuring accuracy and effective messaging in all consumer communications, dealer communications, press releases, and dealer order guides. Additional Description Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field 6
years of marketing/advertising experience; ad agency and/or automotive experience in either area preferred Ability to manage a multitude of projects and deliver results. Manage the creative process, facilitate effective brainstorming, and has sound judgment regarding the value of various ideas. Ability to work well in a complex, and cross-functional, team environment including managing multiple assignments utilizing highly efficient time management skills Outstanding project management capability Possess the functional/technical knowledge and skill to perform marketing duties at a high level of accomplishment. Ability to develop and communicate new and unique marketing ideas that will effectively drive consumers to action. This may include communication/presentations to various level of leadership within the organization.
