Role Overview As a leader in population health analytics for over 20
years, SS&C has supported customers with risk adjustment and predictive modeling solutions by licensing the ACG System through our exclusive partnership with Johns Hopkins University. The introduction of our CareAnalyzer product in 2007 enabled us to provide health care analytics to a rapidly growing customer base. You will collaborate with peers and business leaders to continually improve our product as well as design/build new modules. Must be self-driven with a passion to evolve the team skillsets. This is a key role within a small autonomous organization, and requires a high degree of flexibility. Responsibilities Working together with a larger scrum team to design, develop, and deliver tested, working functionality on a regular sprint cadence Designing and developing new features in our applications in ways that facilitate reuse, abstraction, modularity, and best practices for software engineering Implementing industry-wide best practices around API development Building common components for reuse across the organization, maintaining technical documentation, demoing functionality, and reviewing pull requests Becoming technical SMEs for our applications Qualifications Minimum Experience Proficient with C#/.Net (4.0+) 2
years of experience developing Web Applications 2
years developing Stored Procedures using MSSQL Experience developing web-based communication services (REST APIs, Web API, WCF) Experience developing a front-end UI with JavaScript and JQuery Knowledge of the MVVM and MVC architectures Experience performing code reviews and team collaborations Experience learning new open-source software, APIs, and frameworks Preferred Experience Familiarity with VB/.Net Understanding of Auth protocols/methodologies. SOAP, SAML, SSO, OAuth 2 Experience remediating latest security vulnerabilities and standards from OWASP Exposure to automated testing, including nUnit Experience with modern CI/CD Experience in healthcare/payer industry Experience using Javascript visualization library Highcharts Experience developing SPAs using multiple Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue or Backbone
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
