About the General Motors End User Services Client Incident team:
The End User Services Client Incident team provides level 2 client operating system and standard application support for all General Motors employees. In addition the team is involved in a variety of proactive remediation projects, as well as opportunities for testing latest operating system and hardware builds.
About the role:
New team members will support existing Windows 7 clients, as well as preparing for Windows 8 support. In addition to the operating system the team supports Microsoft Office, Outlook/exchange, client networking, and client server relationship. Candidates will need to understand not only the technology supported, but support in relation to metrics, SLAs, and deadlines.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Korean
Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
Active Directory User and Computers Administration
Preferred
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or combination of education and work experience
Five or more years related technical experience in Service Desk environments supporting Desktop, Wide Area Network and Local Area Network
Experience with Desktop and Server Operating Systems
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
Knowledge of Service Desk ticketing systems
