Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering and integration, requirements management, and analysis support to a DoD client with a primary focus on ground vehicle survivability. Apply systems thinking and subject matter expertise to support research and technology integration. Assess systems architectures for survivability impact. Drive systems engineering best practices, including requirements elicitation and authoring, traceability, integration, and verification and validation best practices. Work well across a distributed team to identify and resolve conflicts and technical issues within platforms, systems, and teams. Comprehend and apply current DoD systems engineering and survivability guidance. Research, draft, and review systems engineering products, including initial capabilities document, capability development document, interface control documents, and system survivability plans. This position is located in Troy/Warren, MI.
Basic
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with product development or systems engineering and integration projects
-Experience with systems architecture
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BS degree in Engineering
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with automotive impact or ground vehicle survivability
-Knowledge of DoD systems engineering processes and guidance
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MS degree in Engineering or Physics-based Engineering
